common denominator in what? he's playing in a team that creates very little chances for whoever's playing no9, so you're clearly talking bollocks. how many combined goalscoring opportunities did him & scamacca get today? I can't remember any

The striker should have given Antonio a rest as his form was shocking.
The left back thing was two Creswell incidents. But dawson has done similar. The issue for me with the team is that our success hasn’t been built on clean sheets or a lack of defensive mistakes. Our success was simply because we somehow always knew how to score goals regardless of who we were playing.
That meant team’s didn’t really know how to play us because it was unlikely you could just shut up shop against us and survive.
That’s all gone now. We don’t know how to score at all. And haven’t done since Jan. Antonio is very much part of that problem and ot rotating him somehow has done us in massively. Antonio is the common denominator for all our games really.

We needed a new striker before Jan and indeed a top class LB. If we had had those I think we would have beaten Frankfurt and won the Europa League,
Moyes is dithering scots cunt and I have never rated him.

I don't think getting another striker would have guaranteed anything. He's shown this season that a new arrival would have just been another benchwarmer, while he continued to pick his favourites What is a fact, is a certain LB cost us getting through to the final, yet is still one of the first names on the teamsheet. If you can't recognise when a player is past his best, you'll inevitably pay with your job

Good. For a moment I thought you was going to start talking about Gwyneth Paltrow. It ain’t as if we ain’t got enough going on to give us the hump.?
